Free Resources – Missions

Continent in a Box – Here is a great idea I found for a missions event or missions month. Gather some cardboard boxes and attach a map of a continent and a label of the continent. Decide ahead of time which continents you will be focusing on. Maybe you want to focus on certain missionary families. Choose the continents they are serving in. Fill each box with items that represent that continent – flags, food items, musical instruments, toys, clothes, a picture of the missionary family, etc. A great resource to help you learn more about that continent and ways to pray for the people who live there, check out “Operation World.” I love that book and use it all the time!
