NEW AND UPDATED
When I lead worship time with kids I like to end with a benediction or blessing. It is a way to signal to the kids that they are dismissed. It ends our time together with scripture and focuses our attention again on God.
A benediction or blessing is a way to send the kids out encouraged to remember that God is with them and will provide peace and hope and grace.
Here is a list of Scripture passages that you can use at the end of worship time to bless your kids.
“May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
